The Medical Billing Associate is responsible for managing patient accounts through the insurance billing process (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial insurance), following up post insurance payment, rebilling denials, and satisfying the self-pay portion of the remaining bill.
This is accomplished through utilizing our state-of-the-art software, telephone system, and medical record-keeping systems for our clients.
Further responsibilities will include handling inbound and outbound calls, negotiating payment of outstanding bills, and possible customer service functions.
Training RCS offers 3 weeks of hands-on, paid training for all employees.
For employees specializing in one area of our services, RCS offers supplemental eucational training and certification throught a partnership with the Washington County Career Center.
The Washington County Career Center is ranked #1 in the State of Ohio, and provides educational training and eventual certification to RCS employees at no extra cost, if the certification is completed.
Compensation The Medical Billing Associate is provided hourly compensation (converted to salary throughout the employee's tenure), with a generous bonus incentive for performance relative to estblished performance metrics.
Bonuses are paid out daily, bi-monthly, and monthly depending upon the bonus item.
Schedule Full time schedule Monday through Friday 8:
00am - 5:
00pm.
Employees are permitted to leave early on Fridays, if weekly performance standards are achieved.
The training schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:
00am - 2:
00pm for a minimum of 5 days.
3 weeks of hands on training is provided.
