00/YrOur Company ResCare Community Living Overview The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) Manager oversees delivery of consumer support services for assigned locationThis position supervises personnel to achieve service, clinical, and financial objectives within general resource and reimbursement modelsIn this role, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through quality assurance activitiesMultiple resource and/or reimbursement models may be involved in achieving objectives with broad guidelinesResponsibilitieso Ensures consumer and guardian participation in development of service plan and personal futures plano Coordinates development of each person(s) served personal futures plan and coordinates scheduling of team meetings (times, dates, locations, etc.
) and informs all team members of sucho Schedules and chairs screening for program vacancies and develops waiting list for potential consumer vacancieso Monitors to ensure all service sites deliver services in accordance with contractual, legal, and regulation requirements and implements/coordinates any necessary plans of correction from a regulatory bodyo Monitors all incident reports to ensure patterns of incidents are addressedShares all incident reports with appropriate external agencies (area programs, social services) when necessary and appropriateIncidents of consumer abuse, neglect or mistreatment are investigated in a timely and thorough mannerPlan of Correction is initiated to prevent recurrences.
o Monitors/implements/supervises delivery of service plans and personal futures plan and training of staffEnsures all written training programs are implemented and revised as needed.
o Documents consumer progress or regressionInitiates discharge planning if appropriateMaintains records appropriately.
o Maintains fiscal spending within limits of approved budget, e.
ghousehold expenses and repairs, vehicle expenses, personnel costs, consultant serviceso Monitors worker's compensation and unemployment claims for assigned service site(s)Is proactive in efforts to reduce claims and minimize risk/exposure of agency in these areas.
o Other duties as assignedo Coaches and mentors support staff and attends and participates in announced meetings Qualificationso BA/BS in Business, Health Care Administration, or Social ServicesHigh school diploma or GED equivalent and three years of related job experience may be substituted per area regulationsExceptions must have written approval from Regional Management.
