Responsibilities:
Provide medical care to patients at the healthcare facility under the approval of the Chief Clinical Officer.
Conduct physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans for patients.
Prescribe medications and administer treatments for acute and chronic conditions.
Monitor patients' medical progress and maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
Perform physical examinations on both patients and employees as required.
Perform minor surgical procedures and refer patients for surgical consultations when necessary.
Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
Stay current with developments in primary care and family medicine through continuous education.
Serve as a medical consultant to psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals at the facility.
Collaborate with medical specialists to determine appropriate care or treatments for patients.
Facilitate the admission, discharge, and readmission of patients referred for inpatient treatment at other facilities.
Maintain accurate documentation of medical services rendered, including completion of medical evaluation forms, admission and discharge records, interpretation of laboratory reports, and clinical diagnostic findings.
Provide instructions and medical records to nursing staff and other personnel as needed.
Any other duties as assigned.
